Endometrial ablation hasn't work. Other options?

I had an endometrial ablation at the end of August 2009 after enduring severe menorrahgia for several years. I thought that my periods would get lighter and shorter but instead they still last 7 to 10 days and only slightly less heavier then before the procedure. Hoping that things would slow down after a couple of months, it is now the end of November and the relief I expected hasn't come. I go back to the doctors in January so I will address my concerns with her then. But what are some other options that will help me besides a hysterectomy. I'd like that to be the last option because I think it might have negative side effects on my drive. Thank you.

I have a 1995 Toyota Camry LE V6 and overdrive will not engage. The PWR shift light and O/D OFF light keeps flickering on and off. I think that this type of regime is great and keep it up. However, remember to throw in a few days of rest here and there - if you are feeling tired, it is a sign that you should take a little rest. The best thing to do is listen to your body... if you are aching badly from lifting / basketball, then take 1 or 2 days off. If you don't ache, keep going :)

Help me feel better about my relationship?

First let me start by describing both myself and my girlfriend. We are both 18 years old and are both attending college at different nearby Universities. She is very intelligent in terms of her schoolwork, she is top of her cl in almost every cl, and she is in a 7 year premedicine program. She is absolutely stunning; she cannot walk into a room without turning heads and before people knew we were dating she was asked out on practically a weekly basis. We are very much attached to one another, but there is a problem I seem to have. In one relationship that she had lasting between 4 and 2 years ago (when she was 14-16 years old), she was involved with this man who was 18-20 years old. Eventually he got her drunk and had with her. Again and again he would get her drunk and have with her. In one week during her finals, she said they had 5-7 times a day. In the last year of the relationship she tried to get out of it, but he would threaten with suicide and/or exposing everything to her parents. Eventually the police became involved but only after a year of her wanting to leave him. She deeply regrets this part of her life and is more cautious about her approach with men, but that is not my concern. I feel as though I am inadequate. I have had fewer times in my life than she has in a single day (I've only had 4 times, including our first time very recently.) I can make her climax, but I really do not know if I satisfy her. We've talked about it and she has said that after the 2nd time in a day with this ex-boyfriend he had to use lubricant, but i still feel inadequate. I also look back at that time of her life and it is deeply upsetting. She has certainly furthur improved herself since we started dating i.e. she quit smoking and drinks more responsibly but the fact that she still drinks is what gets to me. I know it was such a long time ago, but after having such a terrible experience with alcohol how can you still do it? Granted I also had my idiotic days of messing with various drugs but I have realized that there are consequences to my actions and have been very intelligent about the decisions I make for a long time. I sometimes feel as though I am much more mature than she is in terms of decision making, and she has agreed to try harder to be more mature but I am still uncomfortable about this and the other aforementioned issues. I see humans. And I see a lot of wrongings. A lot of ignorance. A lot of evil, selfishness, greed, and ignorance. Humans can be so stupid and so closed minded that they get into trouble. Some of us are smarter than others. Some of us are more empathic than others while some really have no empathy at all! Some have no understanding to them whatsoever. I see true morons from time to time. Usually people are peasants and are apathetic to others and the world. They just want to live their life. So they work 9 to 5. Few of us are the real changers. Only a few hundred politicians in Congress. Only few that are responsible for the many. Many do not care about Politics. It is FEW that are artists. It is FEW that are engineers. It is FEW that are lawyers. But never in the many are we, as humanity, capable of doing true good. We have many problems of our own we cannot deal. We are still ignorant of so many things. I really think we are not as great as we think we are. Comparing ourselves to monkeys isn't really fair. Yet we don't dare compare ourselves to others. To really see how things are. That we have many many faults. So the question is, do we, as humans, by nature, have the potential to evolve ourselves even more? To grow our awareness more? For most new construction, walls and ceilings, after the drywall is installed, the joints are taped and "mudded", the nail/screw head holes are also "mudded", then it just gets a coat of primer, and a coat of paint. They are extremely easy to work with and I would rather carry 50 metal studs into a job site than 50 2x4's. They work well for quick wall building, and most of them have precut punch outs to run electrical or plumbing. You need to know if you can or want to use metal studs, there are trade offs; you gain speed, but lose strength. It depends on each project.

Legalities on copying DVDs?

I have searched through most of the previous questions asked on this subject but never seen anyone provide a link to a site that shows it is legall to copy your own dvd or cd that you paid big bucks for. i have also searched the copyright groups for home use burning and still not finding anything in writing.I have been copying for years and i am close to 60 years old and can go back to the days of everyone copying their rare vinyl records to the reel to reel tape recorders to preserve the records that eventually fail due to being played too much. Then the cettes came and then the vcrs and now the dvds. When i go out and pay big bucks for a rare or hard to get dvd or a triology boxed set i burn them and only watch the copies so i can preserve my investment in case they get scratched and especialy as i live in Australia and i have lost qite a few in summer months by having them in my car and they have warped from the heat.I suppose this is a tricky question as it depends on which country we live and also different state laws, but has anyone found a site that clearly says it is legal for us to preserve (for the better word) our treasured dvds or music.?.Its kinda like saying we cant carry a spare wheel in our cars in case we get a flat.

I have a relaxer my healthy hair is suddenly shedding ALOT help?

I have a relaxer. I have always had abnormally thick long and soft hair which I have taken for granted. I do not wrap my hair at night but I also do not abuse it with heat styling. I got braids professionally done in June and it was wayy too tight and chunks of my hair was ripped out! I also have a hair color by the way. I was mad but I wasn't that worried about the hair that got ripped out because everyone always joke that I can grow hair like a horse and this was always true. All of a sudden my hair is still growing I can already see it about 2 inches longer since June but it is thinning soo badly. When I comb it just breaks and breaks and never stops falling everywhere. i created a remote Control car, The big companies that sell remote Control cars are Tamiya, team losi, team ociated, Integy etc. I have created a car similar to what they create. its competition category and very fast and durable, not like a toy car from New Bright or a Company like that. What Base should I use in the Guinea pig / rabbit hutch to stop them from digging their way out?

I have a large cage with two guinea pigs and one rabbit. it has a bare base where they run around on the gr. I suspect the rabbit has been digging the holes under the cage the holes were big enough for my piggies to escape. I want to put a base on it but still have gr exposed so they can eat and i have heard wire is not good for the guinea pigs. Any suggestions on how i can modify the cage to combat this problem.

Rain forests are stripped to supply wood and create land to farm, poor as it is. People need to live and this is what they do in some areas. The cause is their government, or lack of it. They are slow to enact laws to protect the forest. They also don't have the ability to provide enough istance and incentive to help the people out of their dire conditions. As fast as an area is cleared and the small amount of money is gained for these old growth woods, farmers come in and work the poor land. It is poor for cropping as the nutrients of the rain forest are tied up in the growth so that removing it takes all the nutrients out of their cycle. Once the land has been cropped once or twice, it is left. It doesn't produce and the incentive (or regulation) is not there to improve the land. Why should someone put all that effort and cost into a thing when it's easier to move to the next plot. That is where the governments fall down. Frequently their leaders are busy feeding themselves while the people starve. Individuals that care wish to stop the slash and burn farming and the illegal logging to protect the old growth and the many species that call them home, some still not discovered yet. How many new species went into extinction before they were ever even noted and at least tried to be saved? If you look at a map and follow the equator you will see many rain forest areas and they are quite varied. One thing they have in common is the smoke from the clearing. Load the link below if you have a decent computer and look around in the jungle areas around the world and you will see what I mean. Just follow the logging roads to where the smoke rises. I have heard such different view's on mastiff's, you search on web and are told, although big english mastiffs/american mastiffs fantastic with kids and great family pets then I hear on the other side don't do it they should be banned they are too aggressive? Every mastiff owner I have spoken to have no trouble with their dogs! Why is there such a big divide in opinions on these breeds? I have recently got an american mastiff puppy and have 3 children. What happens when you get your id taken away at a bar (in Boston) & they say a detail cop is on his way?

I was using my sisters ID last night and the bouncer said it didn't look like me & took my ID even though I had all the back up and answered all the questions he asked correctly. It was the first bar we went to & I really wanted my ID back so I hung around the bouncer & kept asking when I was getting it back so he would start to rethink if it really was me. He pulled me aside and said that I need to admit it's not me or else the detail cop will come & deal with the situation. Obviously I didn't admit it wasn't me so the bouncer kind of just kept blowing me off and ignoring me when i asked when the cop was coming. Finally he had another bouncer come and look at the ID and after they talked in the corner he gave me my ID back and said not to come back. So the cop didn't even come. I was just wondering if they just say that the cop is coming as a way to scare you into leaving or if the cops really actually do come. I was there for about 45 minutes and no cops came. If the cops do actually come how will they be able to tell that it's not my ID? my sister and I look very similar...

I have had my spacers for around maybe a bit over 2 weeks. This is the 3rd time 1 has came out. The first time it was the one between my upper right molars, second was between the upper left molars and right molars, and the 3rd time (this time) is between the upper right molar AGAIN. This includes psych evaluation, sleep study, nutrition counseling, physicals and doentation to include I have tried at least 2 non-surgical weight loss programs for over a year with no long term success. Finally after submitting everything, they denied me for "no recent active participation in a non-surgical weight reduction program". My last weight loss attempt was a year ago. I am about to lose my job because I cannot literally stand up on my feet anymore. This is something I have to get, not something I just want. It would seem if both my primary physician and the specialist both agree this is medically necessary, then the insurance companies couldn't deny someone their health.

I was never overweight.There is no history on heart disease, HT or Diabetes in my family.(My father was a body builder...so he has a lot on fat in his body) I got married in 2006 and I weighed 53 Kgs at the age of 23 years. I stand 5 feet and 1 inch tall. After I got married I gradually began to put on weight and then there was no looking back... I never bothered to realise that I should follow an exercise regime or even walk on a treadmill (I have one at home). I always had a guilt of being overweighed but neva got motivated. Nonetheless my husband used to to say that I look ugly with so much weight. But my profession (I am a content writer) which includes a sitting job...made my tummy, thighs flabbier day by day. I got pregnant in Nov 2007 and I weighed a whopping 70 Kgs. I consulted a good gynae who insisted me to have not more than 1600 calories a day...so that the baby gets the nutrition and I don't put on much weight.But I gaied a lot of weight and I weighed 91 Kg in my last trimester. Later in Aug 2008 I delivered a baby through C-sec as the baby had ped meconium. I weight 80 Kgs wen I delivered my baby. I did not do any exercise for three mnths except slow walks...but that also was regular. Now My son is 5 mnths and I weigh 86 Kgs.....and on a verge of goin into depression...Pls help me. My husband and I argued more about the wedding than we normally do. Wedding planning can be stressful. The important thing is that you are able to compromise with each other and respect each other's decision like you did with the tuxes. You will have to find a way to compromise on the other details as well. Maybe have a park wedding, but keep it simple and have a small crowd. I have been experiencinting from 5-10 days before my period for the last 2 years. I have been ttc since going off birth controll pills two years ago. I have went through a series of blood work and ultrasounds to ensure that there are no polyps, etc. that are causing the spotting. My doctor has said that I have a low FSH level and that the progesterone level is also low. I know that I am ovulating each month, but the doctor believes that the FSH level is not making a mature enough follicle. I am in my second cycle of clomid/progesterone treatment. My first cycle was not successful and I experienced spotting starting at 9 dpo, which is similar to cycles without any medication. Should it take more than one cycle to show any change or progess in the spotting? I am just wondering if this course of treatment will work since I have not seen any changes. Any one with any advise or similar stories?

Stress fracture?

I had stress fractures in both my legs two years ago. the right one healed, but i still have pain in my left leg (which was the worst out of hte two). i can still push on my leg and pinpoint hte place where it hurts, but some of the other symptoms of stress fractures are no longer there. since its been two years i dont know what's wrong with it...it has just never fully healed. is there such a thing as chronic stress fractures, or does anyone have a clue as to what it could be?

Think of it this way, the DS are there before the recruits wake up, and there after they go to bed. So he'll be working looooong hours. But as I remember, he would work 3 days, and get a day off. See what I'm saying? Then between cles they get about 2-3 weeks off. And remember also, he'll have to go to the field with them too.
