I have a relaxer my healthy hair is suddenly shedding ALOT help?

I have a relaxer. I have always had abnormally thick long and soft hair which I have taken for granted. I do not wrap my hair at night but I also do not abuse it with heat styling. I got braids professionally done in June and it was wayy too tight and chunks of my hair was ripped out! I also have a hair color by the way. I was mad but I wasn't that worried about the hair that got ripped out because everyone always joke that I can grow hair like a horse and this was always true. All of a sudden my hair is still growing I can already see it about 2 inches longer since June but it is thinning soo badly. When I comb it just breaks and breaks and never stops falling everywhere. Believe it or not I still get alot of comment on how pretty and thick my hair is but it wont last long with the rate is falling out. How can I stop this. I am wrapping my hair nightly and went to a new stylist for cut and deep condition couple weeks ago. I wont color anymore untill this stops but it still breaks bad everyday. I cannot afford to go to the stylist weekly like she suggested nor do I have that kind of time. Any suggestions. I am also under stress, can that really be the cause? Also I will tuen 30 next year is it my age catching up with me? Help I'll be bald within the year lol.
