FIling Status change, do i still have to do questions 23 to 31?

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish here. If the child is related to you by blood or adoption and you originally filed as single claiming both the child and your partner as dependents and you are now amending only to change your status to HOH, there is no need to complete lines 21 to 31 of the 1040X. If you are amending to add a dependent not originally included on your initial return, those lines must be completed.
