Nissan 200sx turbo dump valve/boost gauge problem !!!?

i want to connect my dump valve up on my 200sx but i am running a boost gauge/ control sytem if i was to put a t-peice on the boost gauge pipes to connect my dum valve will it still give me the correct reading ?
