Any tips for a teenage author?

I am 13, and I always got complimented on my writing by my Social Studies and English teachers. About 4 or 5 months ago, I got the idea to write a book, hopefully series, on vampires, using real satanism, along with vampires based on the Underworld series, the BloodRayne series, and my own little twists. I am writing it in a word doent, and am on mt 13th page. Any tips on being an author and/or publisher?
