Does the Kindle Dx get all college books?

Im really interested in getting a Kindle DX this year for college but before i make the final choice i need to know if its a good choice. im taking 16 credits and i dont want to lug around all those books notebooks and my laptop, does anyone know if the Kindle DX can hold all my college books?
