How much oil did we gain from opening up the Gulf of Mexico to drilling two years ago?

George Bush signed a law on July 29, 2006 [legislation was ped by a bi-partisan Congress] to open up 8.3 million acres of the Gulf of Mexico to oil drilling. How much oil has been extracted from the region since then? How many barrels has been put into circulation here in the U.S.? Where can I find this data?
