What do i need to do to sue a doctor in Alberta Canada?

In 2007 I ended up having a emergency hysterectomy as I lost 7 of the 8 units of blood in your body.I had been bleeding everyday for about 6 months and I finally got tired of it and went to the doctor.I was told i have two large mes (fibroid) on my cervix and uterus.Anyhow I went to the emergency room and then i was admitted.That night the doctor of OB-GYN came in the room checked me out internally and said that he would do a hysterectomy the wednesday coming from the date of admission. He said to me he didn't' feel like doing a hysterectomy right now because he was going golfing.He left the room and I started crying as he made me feel like I am nothing and everything was just fine.Later that same night I hemorrhaged I was rushed to red deer which is 2hrs from Drumheller where I live.It was due to the kindness of one doctor I do like as he is the one that saved my life that night by sending me to red deer.I had a emergency hysterectomy.The following day after mt surgery I had asked to be transferred back to drumheller so my family could be there to help me.The Red Deer Hospital sent me home in the back of my jeep.There are other issues myself and my family have endured and other patients I have heard them complain. My main question is "HOW CAN I SUE"the doctor about my hysterectomy being all messed up??
