Is Alan Greenspan a two faced liar?

Most people change their minds when confronted with reality and facts, if that were not the case science would not have made any progress and we would still believe the natural world was composed of earth, fire, air and water. Being chairman of the fed where you are immersed in data would change anybody's perception about how the economy works
